By now a lot of us know about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8+, and their release is coming quite soon. We all have a pretty good idea of what the phone will look like, but all we can do is hope it turn out the way we think it will. Here are some ideas...
Here is a render of what we think the phone will look like. As we can see, it has a larger screen than it's predecessor the S7. We can also see that there is no home button which usually means no fingerprint scanner. Now some rumours stated that the fingerprint scanner will be embedded with the display. Others suggest that it will be on the back next to where the camera is sitting, which is quite an awkward position to have to unlock your phone with, if you have tiny fingers at least.. Now ditching the fingerprint scanner allowed Samsung to make the screen larger. If the rumours are true, then the S8 display will feature a 5.8 inch display, and the S8+ 6.2 inch screen (full rectangle). This was achieved by the phone having minimal bezels and the ditching of the home button. The phone is also said to be the same size as the S7, but with a bigger display.
Specs: The resolution will be a super AMOLED quad HD+ display. The rear facing camera will be the same 12 MP dual pixel camera on the S7 and S7 Edge, with that super fast autofocus. The sensor will also most likely be improved for better photos. The selfie camera, however, will be an 8 MP camera. The phone is also said to have the IP68 Water and Dust Resistance on the S7 and S7 Edge. The phone will have a metal frame and the glass back, going for three generations now. The S8 will also feature more advanced security with having the Iris scanner we saw from the 'hot' Note7. The phone is also said to have 64 GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card slot, expandable to 256 GB. The 64 GB will be an improvement from the S7's 32 GB. The phone will feature 4GB of RAM, with the Snapdragon 835 processor, and a Samsung Exynos version which will make it 11% faster than the S7. The phone is also said to have wireless charging, like the S7, and it will run on Android 7.0 Nougat with the Samsung UI. On the battery side, the S8 will have a 3000 mAh battery, while the S8+ will have a 3500 mAh battery. The batteries won't be getting to huge of a battery though, because of the Note7. Something that the phone has (thank goodness) a 3.5mm headphone jack, and earphones tuned by AKG. I am not 100% sure if the AKG tuned earphone are true, but that's what I heard. But we haven't heard anything about the phones having stereo speakers though.
Thank you so much for reading, have a great day!
