There is a lot of speculation that when iOS 11 releases later this year, Apple will likely remove over 200,000 apps with it. This is because the app developers have not been updating the apps to be more compatible with the new version of iOS, and 64-bit processors. There are also rumors that the apps being removed are made by Iranian developers. One of these being an Iranian app called Digikala, which had millions of user, before it was removed. But there is however no explanation as to why Apple is removing Iranian apps, other than Apple's App Store not being available in the country.
